Our Philosophy

Abstractibly_IdentityDesign_Icon.png

Your brand identity is your foundation, it is everything you are known for, it is what you build around, and it is your beacon for internal and external decision making for your organization.

Your online presence is your vehicle for spreading the word about your brand, it’s where you signal to the world what you’re made of and how you want everyone to interact with you.

Your ongoing content strategy is the fuel for how far that message will go. The more your message travels, and the more avenues it takes to spread the word, the more chances of resonating with the people your brand is meant for.

About Abstractibly

Abstractibly is a one-man creative studio that positions brands for growth in the digital space through logo identity design, web design, and social media content strategy. Led by Kyle Clay Richards, an empathetic creative with a passion for giving visual form to the smallest, most ridiculous ideas, Abstractibly breaks down the barrier of intimidation for anyone with an idea to just get started. We also want to help businesses and organizations that are underrepresented online take control of their digital footprint and utilize modern web-based tools to help those entities convert visitors to customers, readers to subscribers, and leads to clients.

About Kyle

Kyle’s passion for making things goes back to his teenage years when he tried replicating his oldest brother’s drawing abilities. That creative outlet eventually transformed into woodworking and vocational drafting classes in high school. Drafting led him to studying architecture at the University of Idaho for three years until he realized his true passion for graphic design, a career path that would allow him to have an impact on businesses and organizations across a seemingly infinite number of touch points.

Kyle has a BFA in Studio Art & Design with emphasis in Graphic Design from the University of Idaho.

While in Moscow, Idaho, he also taught himself HTML & CSS, and developed a passion for building web pages from scratch and putting them on the internet for the whole world to see. While that was inspiring and exciting, he never thought it would land him a job at a web development agency in his home town, but it did. Kyle has 12+ years of experience working with companies and organizations of all sizes across all industries, helping them with logo identity design and implementation across print and digital deliverables, especially websites. At the end of 2025, he joined Persnickety Social Marketing + Design Co. where he is a contracted Brand Manager & Website Specialist under the Abstractibly name.

Kyle values making an impact on people’s lives and their communities by bringing ideas to life and helping them succeed in an ever-changing, increasingly-digital, and competitive marketplace. He’s spoiled with the opportunity to do that every single day.

When he’s not doing client work, he’s building brands of his own. He started Abstract Sports in 2016, a sports blog that “Brings Sports Back to Life” by looking between the numbers at the human side of the game. The site has over 600 published articles, by over 50 different contributors, and over 75% of traffic to the site is organic. He manages two fantasy football leagues through Abstract Sports, so he stays up on football lore, but when fall hits, you can catch him watching a basketball game on a propped up phone while cooking dinner for his family.

Kyle has been married to his wife Britney since 2023, and they have two little boys and two doodles to look after. Being a dad is what really fills his free time these days. Watching them learn and grow is more fulfilling than anything in the world, but they are what drive him to be the most positive, hard-working person he can be.
